Michael’s life experience allows him to be more relatable with many groups. Michael began his music and performance career early and played trumpet, clarinet, bass clarinet, flute, baritone horn, percussion, and focused on saxophone throughout high school performing in marching and concert band, and local and state auditions. In college, Michael was a Jazz Studies and Performance Major, performed with the two different jazz bands, small combo groups, symphony orchestra, chorus, and was a student arranger and student conductor.
Michael was the musical director for his college’s musical theatre program directing the pit orchestra and played in the pit orchestra for many theatre performances in college and throughout the community. Professionally, Michael has performed with some of the music legends including: The Four Tops, Little Anthony, Wilson Pickett as well as, Carol Lawrence, Donald O’Connor, Charlie Callas, and Phil Ford and Mimi Hines.
Michael has participated in multiple sports and was a summer youth coach for basketball and baseball. Currently he enjoys playing golf, fishing, watching all sports, and is involved in local youth sports. Michael also spent time working as a first responder and is very passionate working with our brave military and first responders.
Michael's time working with those involved in the Pulse Night Club Shooting and others who experienced their own trauma have heightened his mission to embrace the significance of being part of the Central Florida community. Michael's primary treatment practice is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)
His personal mantra has always been, “we are human, and do not have a manual to navigate through life.” Michael offers a safe place that is objective and judgment free to assist you on your journey.
